Books and Reports

  • Shakespeare

Basic Format: Author, A. A. (Date). Title of the book. Publisher Name. https://doi.org/xxxx

Edited Book Chapters

  • Chapter in an edited book 
  • Chapter from a textbook
  • Work in an anthology
  • Entry in a dictionary or thesaurus

Basic Format: Author, A. A. (Date). Title of chapter. In E. E. Editor (Ed.), Title of Book (page numbers). Publisher Name. https://doi.org/xxxx

Online works that fit a textual work category should be cited as such.

Use a DOI (digital object identifier) for all works including print works, if available.
