Both CINAHL and Medline contain a mix of nursing, medical and other allied health journals. If you want to limit your search to just those journals with a nursing focus follow these steps in CINAHL or Medline (hosted by EbscoHost).
1. Enter your search terms in the search bars. Type "nursing" in one of the search bars.

2. Limit the journal subset by choosing "Journal Subset - SB" from the list of options in the field box beside the search bar. This tells the database to look for journals that are classified as nursing.

3. Look through your search results. When you click on a title, you should see "Nursing" under "journal subset" on the detailed record page to indicate the article is from a Nursing journal.

If you are ever unsure whether or not a journal is peer-reviewed, you can check it by clicking on the title of the journal in the "Source" line which will open a page with information about the journal.
