The Oxford English Dictionary (OED) is widely regarded as the accepted authority on the English language. It includes present day and historical meanings as well as the pronunciation of 600,000 words.

ARTstor

ARTstor is a digital library of approximately 550,000 images in the areas of art, architecture, the humanities, and social sciences.

Google Images
Change the usage rights to "labeled for reuse" under the Tools drop down in an advanced search or search results page.
Creative Commons Images
These images are already labeled for reuse without modification. (options for commercial and modification search filters)
Flickr
Search using the Creative Commons license (follow the creative commons license for how you can use and reuse the photo)

ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global (PQDT Global) contains over 3.8 million graduate works, with 1.7 million in full text. It provides access to millions of dissertations and theses from over 700 academic institutions, dating back to 1861.

You can search EBSCO's Open Dissertations by choosing an EBSCO database (Academic Search Complete) from the A-Z Database List-> Choose Databases -> Open Dissertations.
