The databases below are general databases that contain information on a range of disciplines. The General Honors courses at Union consists of four courses - Wisdom, Beauty, Creation, and Justice. Use the tab for each course to find resources related to those courses.

Students enrolled in Subject-Specific Honors courses will want to use the LibGuide in their discipline to locate appropriate resources.

Academic OneFile includes peer-reviewed and full text articles from journals and reference sources in the subjects of physical sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, the arts, theology, and literature, as well as the New York Times.
Academic Search Complete
Academic Search Complete is a comprehensive scholarly database, with more than 8,500 full-text periodicals, indexes and abstracts for more than 12,500 journals and more than 13,200 publications. It covers a range of disciplines such as science, engineering, psychology, religion, and many others.
JSTOR
JSTOR is an archival database providing full-text access to back issues of scholarly journals in a variety of disciplines. Union has access to publications within the Arts & Sciences Collections 1-7.
SAGE Journals
Online access to 550+ journals in the social sciences, business, humanities, science, technology, and medicine disciplines.
WilsonWeb OmniFile
Wilson Web OmniFile is a full text database that contains articles from approximately 2,700 publications beginning in 1994 that cover Art, Agriculture, Applied Science, Business, Education, Science, Humanities, Law, Library Science, Social Sciences, Technology, and more.
New Testament Abstracts
Used by scholars, librarians, clergy and students for the study of the New Testament and its historical milieu. The database contains more than 42,000 article abstracts, 1,200 review abstracts, 15,600 book abstracts, and 50 software abstracts.

Newspaper Source Plus
Newspaper Source Plus includes more than 700 full-text newspapers, nearly 31 million full-text articles, and more than 677,000 television and radio news transcripts.
