When you schedule a Research Coach meeting via Zoom, you will receive an invitation to the Zoom meeting. The invitation will contain a link to the meeting. This link is what you will use to join the meeting/research coach appointment.
To join a meeting, click on the URL underneath "Join Zoom Meeting".

When you make a Research Coach appointment using Zoom, the research coach will send you a link to the appointment. Click on "download here". An orange box will appear at the top of the screen. Click the download arrow at the top of the screen to download Zoom.

Double click "Zoom install only" in the box that appears.

Click "continue" in the box that appears. This will allow the software to be downloaded to use.

When asked if you want to continue, click "allow".

Once the software is downloaded, you will be prompted to choose a screen name. This screen name is what others will see in the meeting.

Enter the screen name you want to use.

The program will ask if you want to join with or without video. Click "join with video".

Before your meeting starts, you can choose to join the meeting with computer or phone audio. For the research coach appointments, we recommend computer audio. However, if the computer audio is not working, the research coach appointment can be conducted via Zoom using a phone.
Be sure to test the audio a few minutes before the meeting (or research coach appointment) is scheduled to start.

Once your options are chosen, then you will be in the meeting with the Research Coach.
